Maumee is a suburb of Toledo along the Maumee River and is located in Lucas County. The town plat was created in 1817 as a major trans-shipment point. Today, Maumee is home to one of the largest business centers in Northwest Ohio – Arrowhead Business Park. However, Maumee still retains its small town ambiance, historic homes and business community.
